If done properly! the time would be much less that tenth of a second! infact it might even be better with a good core and properly desinged intercooler piping and core! I don't think mazda was thinking much about the boost response as they were cost, It costs far less to make a top mount than it does a front mount otherwise they would have simply made it a front mount in the first place and gained a few extra HP!
