Twinturbo FC?

is this even possible? this is one of the main things I've gotten intrested in recently, mainly because I drove a 94 FD, and I love the early spool, I loved the car to death (unfortuniately sold before I had the money). is it possible to create a similar turbo setup for an FC?

Anything is possible. A sequential like the FD has would be a lot harder. I do not know for a fact but I read some time ago that the FD sequential twins were controlled from the ECU.

However a twin turbo setup is very capable and any competent fabricator could make you a manifold or someone has to have one on here for sale. Then it’s up to you if you want series’d TT setup or independent TT setup.

yup... the sequentials are run off of the fd's ecu, which pretty much makes it impossible to use on an fc (remember i said pretty much)

here are some pics of fc twin turbo setups............. the last pic is a triple turboed fd (just to show anything is possible)

As were yours to mine. Good trade, especially the tri-turbo 3 rotor.

Edit: Found another worthy pic, as I have plenty but few are worth posting.

what would be the benefit of running a TT setup over a single?

hardly anything, not if you buy the right single turbo for your needs (i.e. ballbearing, appropriate hot side)

There's a twinturbo kit on ebay right now for an FC... don't know much about its integrity, though. You might check it out.

Hmmm...didn't we just go over this?
The stock FD 13B-REW twin turbos are CRAP.
It's really a waste of time trying to adapt them to the 13BT, or even stuffing a 13B-REW into an FC3S chassis...IMNSHO.

ok, what would be good turbos for a factory Turbo II? I really am not lookin for a major HP mosnster, just a good competive car against the V8's around my area, so around 250-300WHP no more thou.

A hybrid would be ideal. Really, the only benefit is either a) the cheap cost of two similar turbos B) running them sequentially and c) being 'unique' which is completely worthless. Since you can't run sequential unless you use the TT ECU (not exactly easy), the only benefit becomes on wether you have some cheap turbos laying around and can do the fab yourself, otherwise it's rather pointless.

I met single turbo setup, to use, after reading the posts and doing my own research, now looking for a good turbo to get me a similar feel, and put me between 250-300 WHP
