turn signals not working

my turn signals aren't flashing on either side/front and back. i checked the fuse and it is still good. you can hear the relay working but i'm almost positive it's the relay. i went to 3 different parts stores and even checked black dragon auto who specialize in some mazda parts and nowhere sells a relay for an '87 mazda rx-7. does it go by something else? or am i just flat out missing something? thanks for the help.

Does the TURN INDICATOR light come on and flash? The indicator on the instrument cluster. Probably not.

Try wiggling the CPU plugs while the turn signals are engaged and see if they momentarily work. It could be a bad solder joint. As you can see, the output from the CPU goes both the the front and rear turn lights, but also to the indicator on the dash. Maybe watch the indiacator lights as you wiggle the plugs on the CPU. The diagram shows which of the plugs you should be messing with on the CPU. See wiring diagrams online and free.

first , double check the turn signal fuse and the hazard signal fuse. both are equally important.
then, turn the turn signal on and listen for the click. If you dont hear a click. your flasher CPU is mess up.

Like draeko said, check and make sure the Hazard fuse is also good. Push the Hazard switch and see if they work. If not check the Hazard and turn fuses again.

i had the same problem... ..what happen was the hazard signal fuse was loose. Make you you check this first. If you hear clicking when the flasher CPU is okaay..most likely the hazard fuse is no good.

when you turn on the hazard signal, what happen? do you hear clicking? does the light on the cluster instrumental flashing?

Hi wondering if anyone might have some advice for me in this thread. My turn signals don't seem to be working, the switch doesn't activate them on the console or anything but the when I flip the switch to turn on the right blinkers the light for rear window defroster comes on??? What kind of issue is this? It's like there are wires crossed somewhere.
