Turbo scoop on Super C. N/A ?
can a TII hood or scoop be on a supercharged N/A. I think it should be. I know there is a lot of dispute about a t2 scoop on a N/A making the car a tease but it would be ok if it was supercharged right?? I was just wondering. I know u need the scoop for the intercooler but a lot of people put front mounts on anyway so it just makes it look that much more bad ***.

The turbo II hood isn't even as functional as people like to think. I don't see what the advantage of that scoop would be on a SC car anyway, unless your using the scoop for intake air(there are much better ways) it wouldn't help anything except for increasing drag.

I personally don't care what someone puts on there own car. There is no difference in an NA using a TII hood or a S4 using S5 tails. Both "mods" are for looks ONLY so who cares???
Anyway back to your question....
Isn't a supercharged N/A an oxymoron? . Its either supercharged or its N/A.

no one has the stones to say ticket number 1 - I don't act too much like a soporano
frankly, with a SC I would take the time to plumb in a rear cai like santiago was working on a while back. I would also go with water injection if i dumped that much into my car . . .

kill it with BOOMSTICK!
The scoop on the hood of a S/C 7 would not do anything but cool the engine compartment---And lift the front end at speed. The air only can escape one way after being forced in-the bottom of the engine bay, under the car, and pressurizing the engine bay, eliminating the cooling effect of your radiator to an extent. From a functionality stand point, it is a poor idea, for looks, whatever you like. I am acctually looking into this, but by making a scoop to collect all the air from the scoop and pressurize the cold air box I am going to make.

I'm putting a turbo hood on my N/A for the reason being I have a hulky steel hood and it will shave some wieght. I might cut more under the scoop of install an electric fan to pull air in and help cool the motor. But the main reason I'm doing it is because I have the hood and it will cut wieght.

On a side note: Daughter is monitoring this thread from Rome, she sent me an email telling all of the guys to send copies of their bank accounts b4 they get a ticket. (she learned from her sponge of a mother). LOL

doesn't the fc2000 also require the headlight kit to look right??? it's kinda like an fd look for the fc in my opinion....knightsports also makes a front bumper with similar style...

yes it does, its expensive and realy changes the look of the car. Adding a turbo hood to na only makes it look closer to a turbo model (side skits and front lip also needed to complete the transformation)
