Turbo problem
I own a 1987 TII rebuilt engine with about 7500kms, ive put on 2500 of those. It has fuel cut defence, hks induction kit, 750cc secondary injectors, hks boost controller and turbo timer. I bought it from a guy that knows his rx7's, but when i was driving home today when i give it some throttle, the boost gauge needle would start moving up like usual, but then it dropped, i could feel the power in the car drop. I havent touched the boost controller since i got the car and the guy set it for me then i bought it. I didnt have it wide open when this happened, i was just accelerating at a normal pace and this happened through all the gears. I havent been bagging the **** out of this car, ive have been pretty gentle with it, but i know that isnt right and im just wondering if any one knows what the problem might be and what might need to be done. I might have to take it back the guy i got it from and ask him whats up, but want to see what you guys think. Thanks.

Did it do it once? Intermittently? Every time?
I didn't notice a fuel controller in those mods. Without one you'll be running far too rich once the secondary injectors come on at 3800rpm. This will be costing you both power and fuel. If you're running a stock turbo at sensible boost those upgraded secondaries are unnecessary anyway.

That tells me vaccum leak...
BUT...720cc injectors with no fuel comp could play a major role in this....

Well, when i am driving i can see the boost gauge start to move up then i can feel hesitation with the turbo, and the gauge flutters. It will happen ramdomly, some times the i will go through the gear without any problem then when i shift and accelerate i can feel it loosing power, then it will feel like it catches again and im back to full power. Weird, never experienced this before, but this is my first turbo car too. This guy i bought it off of knows his stuff, and everything has been running great up until last night. I havent had a chance to take it into my garage yet and take a look, and i appreciate the help.
