there is no complete guide to doing something right, you can take everyone's suggestion with a grain of salt or do someone elses to a T. doesn't mean one is right and the other is wrong but bigger doesn't always hurt. the T2 oil pump has more volume to flow more because it feeds oil to the turbo as well as the engine, something many people forget when doing something of this nature. that is why i made my original comment. sure the n/a pump may work, then who knows, you may wind up finding out the hard way that the pump really doesn't provide enough oil while at high RPMs on a hot day on the track.. i haven't seen anyone prove to me that it will yet so why not build it right? that's how i see things, not just doing it to prove that it can be done.
