turbo intake manifolds on N/A engine

hmmmm

http://www.tweakit.net/rx-7/13B_6-po...b_manifold.htm

with that you should be able to bolt up the turbo intake maniolds to your N/A block which might leave enough space to bolt up the stock turbo / manifold.

more fuel for those "how do I turbo my N/A" questions

it's an adapter to put a 4 port manifold onto a 6 port engine. 4 port, carb or not, is same pattern.

but with the thickness of the plate pushing the intake manifold out I don't know if the turbo would still clear or not. (same problem as still having the n/a intake)

Wrong. Look at it again. It is for bolting older style (pre-86) manifolds to newer ('86-'91) engines and vice versa. They make adapters that go from old style to new 4 or 6 port style engines. There are 2 different adapters. None of them is for interchanging 4 port to 6 port manifolds. Those manifolds already have the exact same bolt pattern and an adapter is already available for them as well. It isn't hard to just modify a T-II manifold to fit an n/a engine or vice versa. A little grinding and filling is all. It is really quite simple.

but is says "old 13b 4 port" the only 4 ports are 87-91 turbos isn't it?? GSL SE 13b is 6 port and everything else older is 12a....

oh well what do I know. I'd never turbo an N/A anyways.

No. RX-4's, RX-5's and REPUs all used carburated four port 13B's.

The GSL-SE has the same bolt pattern as the 2nd gen engines.
