Car appears in great shape. Seller wants $1500 for it. I'm concered that the car with 100k will be needing a new engine soon. But, maybe even though it has high miles, it will be a good deal.

If it runs good and hasnt been molested, then go for it. Mine had 106K when I bought it, and it was (and still is) thrashed. I paid $1000 for it. But it still runs good, so I keep fixing it up.
