NM turbo II help (boost leak?)

so i have a stock jdm 1987 tII
running it the other night, and when leaving tried to take off quick.
car made it to 4k rpms then instantly bogged.
runs fine until 4k but after that nothing.
i was told it could be boost leak.
Any help would be great

Could be the secondary injectors or the fuel pump as well.

check for vac leaks..spray starting fluid all around vac lines in engine bay..emmissions all there? sounds more like a fuel prob.. no leaks? after all that check injectors

Could also be a boost sensor with it's vacuum line off. Could be a boost sensor that isn't putting out. See FSM, Control Unit for the values.

Does the stock boost gauge work? or is this a swap of sorts?

it has nothing to do with the turbo itself..unless it smokes and bucks when boosting..just trying to save you time

You could be overboosting and hitting fuel cut but that is unlikely as the stock wastegates seem to be reliable, but my bet is on secondary injectors not kicking on because of bad grounds.
