Turbo II Exhaust

I wanting some opinions on exhaust set up ideas. I have been looking at N1, GT, and Racing beat exhaust.
I live in Alabama with no emissions. I was going to make my own turbo back but if any one has any feedback on this stuff or downpipes let me know.

I was also planning on making my own full 3" exhaust. The downpipe seems like the hardest part to make, though. I am going for a single 3" out the passenger side stock exit. I also have no emmisions laws to abide.

Single is cheaper, and concentrates the flamage!!!

I have the Racing beat turbo back on mine and I love it is not to loud and the peformance gain was worth every penny. Just make sure you get the FCD with it or you will experence fuel cut. With that exhaust and a bonez intake I am hitting 10-12psi.

If you don't care about noise, go for the A'pexi. If you do, get the RB. The N1 is about as light as they come...

If you don't mind the single exhaust, the corksport catback is supposed to be decent. I don't know about the noise, but the price is not too bad.

Is the N1 seen as the best Off the shelf exhaust for the FC?

N1 flows the best. I have a few friends who are running the N1 after trying several different exhausts, and they both say that it is the BEST flowing exhaust. I love the sound of it, and the looks.

personaly I wouldn't buy any of them new (I got mine used for cheap ) $700-$800 usd is so much. buy the downpipe for $100 from RB. and have a local shop build the rest for alot less.

compared to what? it's still only 2.5" at the cat flange. the RB is the only 3" exhaust. the rest are only 2.5"

If you get one, you will be so amazed! It flows incredibly well. My friend's 88 AE was pushing 11psi on the stock s5 turbo, and with boost creep from the high flow exhaust he was hitting well over 14psi. He then popped his motor from the extra psi and is redoing it properly (Haltech, upgraded turbo, fuel, etc) still using the N1.

It's pretty loud. Louder than most catbacks.
