turbo guys come here plz
ok i got a boost gauge a while ago and i figured i could put it on about any line goin into the intake manifold.. so i put my boost controller t-valve thing on one of the vacuum lines that come from the intercooler.. but it reads me like 13-16 vacuum ..it shows boost right but the vacuum is weird... i was just wondering if u could post where u put ur boost gauge in and what ur readings are..pics would help

i just hooked my boost gauge to the pressure sender on the pass side of the car. works fine. i get 18"-20" even with a high-mileage S4 engine. currently at ~103,xxx.

You don't want to tap it off the pressure sensor, there is a little black insert in one end of the line, you don't want to mess with the pressure that sends/reads from that.

errm ok, so WHERE is the Proper spot to tap for boost reading. I didn't realize having it tapped at the pressure sender was a bad idea.
