ok i got a boost gauge a while ago and i figured i could put it on about any line goin into the intake manifold.. so i put my boost controller t-valve thing on one of the vacuum lines that come from the intercooler.. but it reads me like 13-16 vacuum ..it shows boost right but the vacuum is weird... i was just wondering if u could post where u put ur boost gauge in and what ur readings are..pics would help

13-16" is more or less normal at idle for an older engine.

You MUST install a VACUUM gauge AFTER the throttle plates (on the engine side). I'm ignorant on where to place a boost gauge, seems it'd work well there too.

You can tap it in the vacume for the Pressure sensor, or your vacume that goes to your Blow off valve.

You don't want to tap it off the pressure sensor, there is a little black insert in one end of the line, you don't want to mess with the pressure that sends/reads from that.

errm ok, so WHERE is the Proper spot to tap for boost reading. I didn't realize having it tapped at the pressure sender was a bad idea.

not to jack the thread...
