VA Turbo coolant lines (gasket?)

s5 t2

I got a coolant leak. It seems to be coming come where the line attaches to the turbo. Is there suppose to be a gasket or o ring there? All I see is a washer.

There are only 2 types of connections on the stock turbo: banjo bolts w/ crush washers and 2 bolt flanges with gaskets.

the coolant lines attach to the turbo via banjo/copper crush washers.

Get new crush washers. If they're been installed and reinstalled, they won't always seal 100%.

Do you measure by outside diameter?

Both dimensions will matter. Here are some from McMasterCarr: http://www.mcmaster.com/#crush-washers/=79is3k.
