Well the FC I bought has presented me with its first problem. At random points while idling the car will begin to smoke, today it happened while warming up the car and 2 mins after the car had warmed up and I drove down the street and again let it idle. Oil pressure seems to be fine, the car idles smoothly so I dont know what is really wrong. My only guess is that the turbo is leaking oil, its a BNR Stage 2. I read that they have been known to leak if they receive too high of oil pressure and this is the only solution I can think of. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

are you still running cats?
As soon as you start your car up have someone watch the exhaust or try to watch it from the drivers seat, the way to tell is if it shoots blue smoke right away then its your oil control rings. If it doesnt smoke till after your exhaust has warmed up then its your turbo, cause your turbo wont burn the leaking oil till it is hot, but your combustion chambers are hot as soon as you start her up.

Another possibilitiy is that your PCV valve/system may not be working correctly. One thing you can do is to try temporarly removing your oil filler cap and see if that relieves the pressure and stops the smoking.

Sorry for not responding quickly, I forgot to check the thread after posting the first time.

If the oil pan section is not vented, it will pressurize while the engine is running and cause oil it bypass the turbine piston compression ring seal
