turbo blankets?

I've read all about how they make your turbo hotter blah blah blah... and I'm fine with that (it's their job...)

I was wondering what a good brand of turbo blankets is? where you got it? and people's experiences with theirs?

I've searched and haven't found any reasonable information on them

Whatever brand you end up with, stay away from the DEI. Mine lasted about a week before the aluminum coating started to flake off.

good to know....

Summit sells Turbonetics and Thermo-Tec blankets, so I'll probably try one of those out.

which kit did you get? they have this one:

which it says is only good up until 1000*F

but this one is supposed to be good up until 2500*F

i got mine from gotham racing. it has held up well but i dont think they are still in business.

guy on ebay sells the blankets they used to sell, protech performance is the company but if you find him on ebay the prices are cheaper then his own website.

awesome, that one looks really nice. I just bought one. only problem with it is that it doesn't come with exhaust wrap like a lot of the other ones do, so I'll have to buy some of that too.

I have my whole downpipe wrapped, Im thinking of wrapping the WHOLE exaust next, ******* heat in the car is brutal
