![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
i recently put my car up to do the clutch with a buddy of mine and found that the exhaust was alot rustier than i at on time thought. so i figured y not just upgrade rather than replace. i know that the raceing beat exhaust says turbo back, but does that mean that their downpipe is longer than the stock one so that it takes up the place where the front converter is supposed to be or does it bolt onto the front converter( cause mine is now basically a rust pile on the ground). i know this question sounds kinda dumb cause of dumb cause of the name of the exhaust but i just wanna be sure before i blow 800 bucks. thanx

The racing beat system removes the convertor all together. It requires the use of RB's presilencer, which takes the place of the cat/midpipe. Wether it is longer than the stock downpipe or not, the bolt pattern is different, so you will need to replace it.

you'd have to swap something back in for emissions testing if you have it.
