You do know that we have a water cooled turbo from the factory, right? Don't you think Mazda would have designed a car that you could just drive and shut off without killing the life of the turbo? You don't need a turbo timer--unless you like to redline your car and then fully shut it down within 10 seconds. It's just another clumsy box. Sell it to somebody else. Don't go hacking up your ignition harness, the last thing the world needs is another Rx-7 with hacked up wiring.

I'm not gonna pay someone to work on my car when I can do it. I just figured that someone on here might be able to help with what I thought was a simple question.

There is a wiring harness that you buy to install the turbo timer. With it you just plug and play.

Unlike an experienced uber-engineer like you, a complete noob would not know that a GT35R is water-cooled and does not need a turbo timer.

Anyway, if you really want to install that thing, I recommend that you get a turbo timer adapter dongle. Even if you can't find one for your particular model of turbo timer, you can still get one for an FC RX-7 so you can at least use the wiring harness clip so you don't permanently ruin your car's wiring system.

However, I second the opinion that you should just sell it to some ricer with a cheapie Mexican/Chinese Ebay dry bearing POS turbo. You can spend the money on more worthwhile car parts for your REAL sports car.

Repeat after me:
I don't know what the **** I am doing.
I don't know what the **** I am doing.
I don't know what the **** I am doing.

See, it wasn't that hard, was it?
