Question transmission problem :( i need help

hi there

i've got an rx7 turbo 87 with a little problem:
when i change from 4th gear to 5th gear the transmission makes a noise(metalic noise) and i think that is about with the syncro.

i live in portugal and this cars are rare so is difficult to me aquire products to my baby.

i've purchase a car like mine but without turbo. the gearbox are incompatible so i'm here to ask if the syncro's of the gearbox are compatible with the version of turbo.

if you know where i can buy some cheap stuff(kit to rebuild engine or transmission) to my car near portugal it'll be handsome

my english is bad but i think you understand me
thanks

you cannot use that transmission, they are different.

your best bet is to take the transmission to get rebuilt. or rebuild it yourself if you want to. or find another turbo transmission.

good luck.

he already knows that he cant used the transmission. he wants to know if the syncros are interchangeable. he also is asking if he can find some place to get a rebuild kit for the transmission.

i dont know. sorry for the pointless post i just wanted to help clarify what he was asking.
