transmission plug removal

instead of a metal drain plug on the transmission...there is a rubber plug, how do u remove it and where to get replacement? thanks

If its a manual transmission you have a square fill plug (1/2" square?) located up on the side. Drain plug should be a 23mm or 24mm plug on the bottom. Theres a rubber insert also on the bottom but its not the drain plug.

i think he's looking at the rubber plug at the bell housing. the drain plug is towards the middle of the trans with a big bolt sized about what "jdonnell" said.
