Tranny swap Question
I did a s5 turbo II swap in my 90 vert. i got the turbo driveshaft but it doesnt line up with the differential. is it possible to swap my old s5 n/a tranny onto the turbo motor so i can get the car moveable. I just put on my turbo back 3" exhaust. looks mean. ill get some pics soon. thank you

You either need to "complete" the Swap with the TII parts(that means get the Diff and the Half Shafts), Or get a Conversion Shaft so that the TII trans can mate up with the N/A rear end,Or Put the N/A flywheel,CLUTCH and PP,.starter,Clutch Slave,and the Drive shaft Back on...I'm Kind of "amazed" that you got the Swap done but didn't Research the Driveline..Good luck anyhow..it should be a Fun ride.

Yes you can put the na tranny back in but you will need the n/a clutch, flywheel, starter and other odds and ends. And you will likely blow up the tranny over time with the turbo motor.

i did this swap and i keep my stock NA LSD(not cause i wanted)what i did was i lined up the driveshaft to the rear end and clamped them together,then redid the holes and got the driveshaft rebalaced,car still running fine with no vibrations and the rear end is holding all the abuse fine
