Ever since i let my friend borrow my 7, i have a hard down shifting from 3rd to 2nd or from 50mph to 2nd. I can not get my 2nd to engage and if i can it will grind.

reservior? What reservoir are you talking about? Just jack up the car get under. And there is a giant drain plug underneath the tranny. Except if it's a turbo the tranny is a lil different than my NA tranny. I think it has two fill plugs or drain plugs. I cant remember but it's something weird like that. Search for the FSM. You can download it in the faq.

And WHERE exactly is this "transmission fluid reservoir"....have you ever put tranny fluid in it before?

strike up the paean
i think he's getting clutch master cylinder confused with this imaginary part.
the tranny is a self contained unit that has its own fill and drain plug. there's no resovoir in the engine bay, and the only thing that pumps fluid through the tranny is the movement of the tranny internals.

Have you ever been under the hood or under the car before, and there is no fixing your tranny with fluid just slowing down the wear a little bit, the damage is done your buddy cant drive or did some joy riding, and yes the problem is you synchro for 2nd gear

The drain plug is on the bottom and the fill plug is on the side of the tranny. AND DON'T BUY A CHEAP VERT FILL THINGY because I did and I got fluid all over me because the stupid thingy kept leaking.
If you still don't understand what I am talking about then buy a shop manual from autozone or something.
