Tranny Leak
Hi guys,
I've been noticing oil stains under my car so I popped under to take a look and discovered a little hole(?) in the underside of my tranny with tranny fluid dripping out of it. I'm not sure what's suppose to be covering/plugging the hole... so I need some expertise.
This is a n/a tranny.
Here's some pictures of the hole:

Thanks!

This seal sits inside the front cover.
Pop off the front cover and pry the seal out using a screwdriver.
Don't use any RTV on the new gasket.
I have a '90 NA and the front seal I ordered from Mazdatrix, 74-92 (all manual trans) Part#16-1030-0603 did not seat completely in the front cover.
The correct front seal that fit my vehicle was the front seal for the 92-95 Part#17-1030-H501.
If you have a s4 model, don't worry about it, the first part number will work fine.
