OKay boys, got under the car, jacked up the engine, input shaft slipped right in...now there is a 1 cm space between engine block and tranny bell housing? Thats this because of? I dont think that the input shaft is totally in....Can i just start puttin bolts in? Or what? ANy ideas? Thanks so much...

Try twisting the tranny a bit, the dowels may not be lining up. Also make sure the ground wire on top isn't hanging it up. If all else fails, go ahead and get some bolts started, and gently apply pressure to see if it seats. Also make sure the tranny isn't hanging up on something (mount, shifter opening, etc)

yep, if your **** is nice and lubed up... and i hope it is.. start EEAASSSIINNGG bolts in, do one, and then do the oposite one, lil by lil just easin' that **** nice and snug, good luck homie
