TPS question
i have been having some trouble getting my car running proper this summer, i have done a compete tune up, checked the timing, and looked for any vacum leaks, alls good there, but when i went to check my TPS with a DMM i got a 1k ohm reading at rest but as i rolled through to WOT it went up smooth till the almost 5k ( around like 4985) and the went to overload when the metal peice on the TB lost contact with the TPS before i got to WOT. i have never messed with the tps but i have a pretty heavly ported TB and no cold start, is it normal for the reading to go into overload?

WOT is a bit of a misnomer. Typically, the TPS will be at WOT position when the throttle is really only at about halfway to fully WOT. If you show a smooth linear sweep from 1.0 to 4.5-5.0 the TPS should be fine. You never described the actual symptoms you're having when you say you can't get your car running proper.
