Tool help

Hey im takin my jspec engine apart. i was wondering what type of tools do i need..
and is there a special one

54mm nut to get the flywheel off with a flywheel stopper. You can borrow it from mazda. A multimeter is really useful. If you plan on rebuilding it though, I suggest you get a torque wrench.

Thats about it.

EDIT: Oh, and have fun with the lock nut under the pulley. Its a bitch to get off in my experience.

54mm socket and a prybar x 2.

It's in the FAQ. It's what I did. Also, a wheel puller comes in handy to pull the flywheel off.

no not rebuilding it jus need to get the dang bolt that went into the chamber. So basicly a 54mm socket is all i need to take out the flywhee

you dont need a flywheel puller, a pry bar, hammer and a block of wood works well. only took one good wack to get it free

if you are opening the block you are going to need to rebuild it...
