Too much gas when it start
Hello everybody
I have an non turbo 88 SE and the motor runs excellent. My only problem is when I started the car (cold or hot is the same) the fuel pump sent too much gasoline and the car floods. (Sorry for my English, Im from Costa Rica )
I know that when the motor is running out, its common that it happens after a short trip, but this is not my case. Its happens every time. The injectors are new, sparks, sparks cables and so on...
Any idea what could be wrong?, As I said, the problems its only when you started the car.
Thank you in advance for all your help.
Best regards from San José, Costa Rica.

The usual cause if the injectors aren't leaking is poor compression. Could run a basic compression test and post the results? I don't expect you'll have a recording compression tester, but that's fine.
There are lots of threads on clearing floods and disabling the fuel pump during cranking, but the root cause of most flooding trouble, after leaking injectors is poor compression leading to extended cranking.

Well that might be the case. I take it that it just started happening after you changes the inj more then likely its your injecter it happens were a new inj comes bad so i would change them out with the old ones.
