Tokico with =?
I have tokico blue's on my s5 N/A and I want to change the stock springs to something else, it would be for pure street/city/mountain driving, I know most people would say save up for coilovers but I just need something to replace my stock springs, what would be a decent match for them? I was thinking the Tein S-Tech since it has about a 1in. drop rate all around, and I don't want to slam my car down >_> Suggestions?

Racing beat. I hear they are a bit stiff, no experience personally yet.

teins are good but stands more for looks rather then performance unless you get coilovers from them which are badass awesome, tanabe i dont know much about them and eibach isnt all that compared to the rb's springs

I've searched this before and read good things about the Tanabe springs. Some people have Tein S Tech's (I have mine in a box, saving up for Tokico HP's to go in at the same time). Two things about Teins: Make sure that if you get them you get genuine ones (scam going around). The other thing is I've read some fitment problems here about the front spring rubbing on the tire, but in one case it may have been because a Tein spring for an NA was used in the turbo, or something.
I'm also looking for people's input on the Tein S.Techs on the NA's with stock wheels.

If you're not tracking it, coilovers seem to be a waste. Tokico blue/RB spring setup works very well, I had it on my NA. Not too stiff for bumps and dips, but when combined with RB sways and a strut bar, almost zero roll as well (assuming reasonable speeds). Now I'm running stock TII shocks on... some aftermarket springs (I bought it like that) and it seems to be well sorted. But maybe that's just the TII talking.

+1 for the RB/Tokico blue setup on your street car. I had the coupe version on my Vert and it was very nice. NOT to stiff for a daily driver. I actually suspect that this setup is similar in ride to your RX7 when its suspension was new.

he's just saying it depends on the person and that his rates are 10k all around. and he's right, it's relative to the person. i'm under the assumption that people here wouldn't be comfortable unless it was maybe... at least a 5/10 on the stiff scale, 1 being SUV bouncy and 10 being damn near "your wheels are welded to your chassis".
The combo

I have RB springs and tokicos. They're a good match. The ride is a little bumpy sometimes but still notably softer than some new sports cars. I always assumed RB were on the soft end, though not as soft as stock. But Eibach and suspension techniques are at least as soft. See http://www.mazdatrix.com/h4586-92.htm. RB knows what they're doing and almost everyone in this community loves their quality parts. I'd go with them.
