you should probably post this in the single turbo section, but if I recall correctly, and I might be wrong on this. An FD ebay ssautoshit or similar manifold will work with an on center housing. They are about 100 bucks.

That FC just left our shop and yes the FD manifold will fit an FC chassis depending on what size turbo etc. Seems most common " medium" frame turbos will fit just fine. Only thing I noticed was wastegate position was less than desirable. That car was using an oncenter turbine housing, but it appears a tang will fit just fine.

hey mob, i'm sorry you're disappointed in the turbo. please dont forgot it is a ball bearing turbo and with that hotside you will get power at very low rpms. depending on what kind of driving you do you may or may not want to get a bigger hotside. i think that combo is perfect for drifting, autocross, and daily driven. even at mid-high 300's you will be spanking a lot of cars out there.

speaking from experience, i run low boost @320whp everyday and its plently.

had a similar setup with my T60-1 but with a huge hotside, and that was quite annoying!! no real boost build up under 4000rpm!! after 5000rpm it pushed like hell but.... it isn't worth it i think... as far as street application is concerned

so i think you'll be lucky with a good responding early boostin' trubo

i'm going with BNR II

Sorry to bring this back, but I have a oncenter hot side also and a hks style manifold. I don't whant to change the housing ( airsearch .96 w/ t4 flange ). Is there anyway to modify the HKS style manifold so it would accept the on center housing without the housing hitting the LIM or the side of the engine compartment. If you guys have done this and have any pics you can share the info I would be very greatfull.

Thanks
JP

PS: If you are wondering I have a 87 TII, if you need extra info let me know.

i have been trying to do al little reaserch and it seems like the obx manifold that they sell on ebay can probably work with the on center turbo since the manifold falnge is higher that the hks manifold..is this right????

The FD one will work with an on-center hotside.A better idea is to toss the on-center in favour of a tang. hotside and use a manifold that works with the less laggy tang. housing.
