tips for starting a jspec?

anyone have any tips for starting a jspec TII engine? i had the housings filled up with MMO for 2 days or so and kept handcranking the engine to try to get it worked around in there.
the engine started on the first crank when we got everything together, but now it wont start again.

Check the compression and see what your dealing with.

I know when my coolant seal blew I couldn't start the car unless I push started it. Maybe try that? It gets the engine spinning a bit more than what the starter can do.

Also clean the plugs. The MMO shoudl have fowled them and put out smoke when you started it.

In the end your still stuck with a used engine from Japan so hopefully it will work out. I'm getting my S5 Jspec rebuilt before I swap it into my 88 GTU.

RotaryResurrection has the best prices for rebuilds.
