TII emission removal questions
Anyone on here remove all the emission stuff on there TII and the rats nest as well and try to pass emissions with just a cat? I wonder if it can be done?
Wondering this as a friend wants to remove all his stuff but also wants the car to run somewhat clean and not stinky like my gsl-se with the RB streetport exhaust and no emissions.
I did do a search and found what you can and can not remove from the S4 TII's so I will give him that info.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's possible to to pass emissions with your "emission stuff" removed, except you'll need (of course) the air-pump and a good cat. If you have a SAFC, you should be able to pass with ease.
I can't remember whether or not I passed in my old TII before or after I removed my emissions stuff. Although I did have to swap out my airpump, because the one I had on there was not working 100%. A good air-pump makes a huge difference.

Thanks, He has no airpump or ACV so that is out. He is running a stock S4 TII setup but was wanting to do more removal and block off other non needed items. I told him he might run into the same problem I have with fumes from my SP GSL-SE setup and he was thinking if he ran just a good high flow cat that then he would not have the fumes and be able to have most everything blocked off.
