I don't know, but I've heard that the TII driveshaft is a different lenth, and that it's impossible to combine an N/A tranny with a tII diff and vice versa. Again, never tried it myself, so I don't know

It's not *impossible* It just requires a custom driveshaft, or you to bust out the drill and make the NA flange bolt to the TII rear-end flange (using the NA driveshaft) Other than that, just the TII rear end and halfshafts.

You need to either have a custom driveshaft made (with a TII flange to mate up to the diff) or swap on the TII tranny, which also requires the TII starter, clutch, etc.

I used a TII rear driveshaft peice mated to a N/A driveshaft . It cost me 45 $'s at the driveshaft shop .
Then just use the TII Diff and half shafts . You might wanna try getting MazdaTrix diff mounts too . Chances are your old ones will be crap when you get to it . 180 $'s well spent .

I have a TII rear in my NA. You need the half shafts. No way around it. BUT dont listen to anyone about the driveshaft. I took the shaft out and drilled the flange on the diff. The bolts wont fit perfectly straght but even at an angle they hold up well. I take the car to driftsession and really beat on it. It hasnt failed. No point on spending money on the driveshaft. If you have the money to, you should do the full swap. I have everything except the clutch and flywheel.
Wow this conversion can get expensive!
If you want to do it cheap, do it my way. The cheap way!
If you make enough power to make the bolts a weak spot I wouldnt count on your tranny lasting much longer.
Sorry about the long response.

you really have both? If you look and then lift the two you will know they dont fit eachother. The TII is conciderable heavier. It is also bigger. THe NA flange will not fit the TII diff either.
