the sensor wire on my car likes to fall off everyonce in a while... it's a simple hook up.. but for some reason, my plug is old/worn and doesnt hold on very well, sometimes causeing my oil P to read as low as 10 lbs. when it is correctly attached a get a healthy 105 psi at 3000
I've done the oil pellet mod and must say it's great.

There is NO way overtightening the oil filter pedestal can affect the oil pressure readings - this is why you're not getting any useful responses.  The exception is if you pinched a wire somewhere or knock the oil pressure sensor around will messing around with the oil filter pedestal.  Whatever the case, you screwed something up so why don't you double check your work?

Yikes normal 105 psi? maybe when cold, but I believe the mazda spec is 60 psi at 3000 rpms, mine stays about 60-70 from 3k on up

tru . thanx though im thinking it would be a good idea to buy that resistor that goes under the right bolt on the slave cylinder cuz it broke off while doing teh rebuild nad i never bought it. also i should buy the oill level sensor which i broke off too =( to reduce the chances of the oil pressure wire to ground out
