This is my last issue with the car, i dont remember making a specific thread concerning it so i thought i would make one....

it makes a weird ticking noise under boost in the higher gears, the car was on the dyno a few times, it ran a solid 11.5:1 AFR, nothing changed when the noise happened, infact i have a video of the noise....

it's happened numerous times already, atleast 30times, i recall reading that if it was pinging my motor would have been done ages ago, the noise only happens when i'm near WOT or at WOT on my car....

i did however spin out one time in a corner, i didnt hit anything just spun a complete 360 and drove off, this was atleast a year ago and the noise has been there ever since that happened....

i'm stumped on this one, and so is everyone else, it almost sounds external or un-related to the engine to some degree because even when the noise happens, the engine revvs fine....

any chance this noise could be one of the bearings inside the tranny going bad?...

the clutch?...

pressure plate?...

anyone?...
