Thinking on going aganist the grain
This is my next project I am thinking on diving into. But I need some tips before I go head first into this Rotary brick wall.
Platform is a S4 SE With a NA S5 engine. I was thinking on boosting the car with this list of parts.
*FD upper intake manifold ported and matched to TII lower /and modified to fit
*FD throttle body
*FD TPS wired to S5 TPS
*FD greddy elbow
*JDM S5 Turbo II lower intake manifold
*S5 upper fuel rail
*with 850cc Venom injectors
*S5 lower fuel rail
*with TII 550cc injectors
*both manifolds have all block off plates installed
*upper and lower thermal gaskets
*all aluminum intercoller piping from greddy elbow to intercooler
*the intercooler
*Steel piping (for better strength on turbo side) intercooler piping to turbo
*real Greddy blow off valve
*T70 turbo with only 100 miles one it
*Turbo manifold W/ T3/T4 adapter
*steel braided correct length oil feed
*oil return
*50mm wastgate
*3 inch V-band down pipe with heat wrap
So its obvious that I am no pro and Fabbing and I will have to pay for that but as for putting everything on I have no prob doing. As for the detials that mainly the turbo guys have ran into I dont know of....for the fact I dont own one. So ALL HELP I WIL BE THANKFULL FOR.

Add a standalone EMS and a good Fuel pump to your list. I have no clue how much power a stock NA clutch holds, but the rest of the NA drivetrain starts to break down at around 250HP. It would be a good idea to swap in turbo flywheel, clutch, starter, trans, driveshaft, diff and axles.
Upgrading to a turbo oil pump wouldn't be a bad idea either.
How much power are you wanting to make?

a t70 is a pretty big turbo, how much power you planning to get here? You are going to need some sort of fuel control, full stand alone etc to even think about running the boost that turbo is capable of. In my opinion, the FD intake and TB are going to be worth the work/fabbing for the small gains if any. You are going to want to keep the Intercooler piping aluminum, the steel stuff is gonna heatsoak, the piping can act as a sort of intercooler itself.

You'll need a standalone.
In that case it doesn't matter what TPS you use.
You'll need way more injector.
There's no reason to mix steel and aluminum pipe. Pick one.
A T70 is a huge turbo and generally considered to be laggy on stock ports.
Why do you need a T3 adapter? I may be wrong, but a T70 is on a T4 frame.
As mentioned you'll need a fuel pump upgrade.
In my opinion, S5 NAs run compression too high for reliable turbocharging especially if you don't have experience tuning. It can be done but it's a bit of a knife edge.
In that case it doesn't matter what TPS you use.

Dood your advice is like butter on Hot pancakes ! I have read through your build up manys times and wished I could have been there just for that Dyno.
But For my prob the parts are all from a guy in orlando and he is selling them to me. and Before I make this huge jump into the unknown I dont want my Woman to leave me for making a jackhole move. So right now In addition to the thing you say i will need...I will be tettering on failure ? the rebuild on my S5 is Stock and Strong but nothing special. Rats nest, All Emissions, block offs have been done to the block already.
But For my prob the parts are all from a guy in orlando and he is selling them to me. and Before I make this huge jump into the unknown I dont want my Woman to leave me for making a jackhole move. You are deff right...I have a TII Tranny Driveshaft LSD Diff and Rear. I have almost roasted the syncros in third with the mods to my na motor and with teh help of my Stiff Drivetrain now, ACT HDPressure and unsprung 4puck.

thanks any applications you have in mind that will go great with the setup ? Like i said up top its just a parts list the guy is selling me. more power the better.

Sell that T70 and get a smaller turbo, a T70 is going to be useless at 5-10 psi, which is probably all the boost an NA engine will hold. Maybe like a T66 or even smaller would work much better I bet.

i was thinking somthing along the same lines but i was gonna use a s4 tb ,and a s5 turbo. and use a piggyback and a s4 t2 ecu so that i didnt have to deal with the dang s5 ecu

get a 16g turbo(supports up to 350hp unless u get a super 16g then it is 450 that is the evo turbo from nowadays.) fast spool and you will have left over money for other stuff. a t-70 is to big for your build i would freak out every time the car boosted if i had it.
actually a stock dsm turbo can get you alot more power. or even the stock t2 turbo. all the dsm turbo's should fit right onto a t-25 flange and get a custom dp made to fit your existing exhaust. last time i got a full custom exhaust it cost me 400$ in all(dp to muffler so it will be more for the headers)

How much power do you want to make? A T70 is huge, only efficient at higher boost levels, and can be a lag machine on stock ported cars. Do you really want 400 wheel HP?
You'll want to go with a smaller turbo and keep the boost levels moderated if you are using the S5 engine. The turbo choice will depend on how much power you want to make.
