Question Thinking of buying TII

Hey guys. Umm I have a prob. Big prob actually. I bought this car(91 240SX) about a month ago for 24 hundred. And it turns out that the previous owner got in a wreck w/o informing me. So now what I'm gonna do is call the ahole and ask him how bad it was. But also I was thinking of just totaling it on my insurance and get a couple thousand out of it. I mean, Superior told me that my frame is bent and that all my suspension is done. Jacked! My parents said that she'll give me 2k aside for a new car. Giving me a total of 4K then I can save up another 2k for an 89-91 TII or a 1st gen DSM. But I'm into road racing narrowing my chances with the FC. My question is: How much would decent TII cost me living in CA. My friend(rx7sam) has one and I love it. So I'm looking forward to buying an RX7, but I need info on it and stuff like that. Help me out guys. I'm in a hole. And how much would a rebuild cost if it needed it? -thanks guys.
P.S. what website sells the stock turbo hybrid?

why would an FC limit your changes for road racing?...and why would a 1st gen DSM be better?
