Thinking about getting a 10th Aniv. Turbo...
My good friend may sell me his '88 Turbo FC since he just got a Mazda Speed Protoge. What common problems do these cars have that I should look out for or take steps to prevent. According to him it runs a little lean, so I'm going to get an S-AFC for it if I buy it. He's selling it for $2500 which seems like too good a deal to pass up. It's in pretty nice shape too, and the black leather interior is SOOOOOOOOO nice, it's half the reason I want to buy the car. So, common problems? What should I look to fix on it?
I should mention he just replaced the motor and turbo with good units, so they aren't an issue.

Thanks Tan, I'll check out the windows. Any easy fix's for them? I'm pretty sure he's re-done all the ground wires, and said it fix'd a lot of the electrical problems. I'll see if there are any more.

If it runs lean, you need to fix that problem so you don't end up needing another engine. What mods does he have that its running lean? You need to make sure getting enough fuel for the mods! Good luck/skill! Sounds like a sweet car & value!
