Well I was at the drag track friday night messing around and I think I really did it this time. As you know in my sig I have a t04b 60-1 and nitrous dont know what went wrong but now my car sounds like a lawnmoer still starts up just fine I havent had a chance to check compression yet. Any ideas what else it could be. Oh and by the way I wasnt using the nitrous I only raced a civic si and a old *** ford rancho. Two more kills to add to my list. but then it started running like crap loss of power but can still hit 10 psi just fine. Had to try it on my way home. If I did destroy it I have a s5 n/a engine laying around Ill put it in for now.

If it sounds like a lawnmower (or a V8 with a race cam), you've probably blown at least one apex seal. Pull the plugs, turn the engine over, listen for evenly spaced chuffs. I'd wager a good chunk of money that you either won't get any compression on one rotor, or you'll get two weak faces & a strong face (one apex seal gone).
Enjoy the engine swap and rebuild. At least you have a spare engine laying around to use.

the sound of the lawn mower could just be a leaky exahsut????, but the best thing at the moment would be a compression test, then can be further more in to looking into finding the real problem

You broke at least one apex seal..
You'll hit 10 PSI with a 60-1 with a blown seal... BTW...
The ROOT of your problem is that you were running nitrous with an SAFC for fuel control on a turbo'd N/A motor..... Thats like putting a band-aid on a sharke bite.
Doesn't say anything about intercooling in your sig, but my first guess would be that you were on the edge to begin with and then got a slight bump in intake temps from heatsoaking and ka-plooey

I have a tII intercooler i used as a front mount. My intake pipes are always cool. Also I would very rarely used my nitrous. I had the same bottle for like 5 or 6 months.

well I did loose all compression in the front rotor. Dammit. Well Ill start swapping the s5 engine into it. and Ill only run 6 psi or so in that engine because of the compression. If it feels right I might go to 10 when I go megasquirt. Any tips I should know for a s5 swap into a s4?
