you already tried mazdatrix?? try again, i just recently bought a new waterpump from them and it came with ALL necessary gaskets (ie; waterpump to housing gasket, housing to block gasket, upper thermostat neck housing to main housing gasket) and i think thats it. anyways just buy a new waterpump from them, you'll get all that you need to replace all possible coolant leaking gaskets in a nice little box. it solved my mysterious coolant leak/white smoke on startup problems as well by replacing it! you could probably use a new one anyways, no telling how old your current one is. i think it cost me a good 90 bucks, but its worth it... i also replaced my upper and lower radiator hoses and thermostat while i was at it... just be careful and dont over tighten the bolts, thats what i did and i cracked the main housing...

I use RTV (silicone) sealant only.

Follow the directions.
EG:
Paint a thin coat on each surface.
Let it set a few minutes.
Don't overtorque the bolts.

It's not a gasket, it's an O-ring.
I had to replace mine recently, had problems finding a 'gasket'
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!!!!!
my housing leaks now because the bolt hole got reamed out slightly...

NAPA has it, and for only like a dollar or two!!! I looked everywhere for it, trying to special order, when I ran into an RX-7 owner at Advance Auto Parts who told me of NAPA. I have that gasket on both my '90 and '91.
If you don't have a NAPA there, I can pick up a few up the street...let me know.
