No, have to do it from the fill port on the side. Don't do like some other guy recently posted and remove the drain plug just to find out the fill plug was stuck and won't come off. Now he has an empty tranny and can't fill it.

I have a real easy way - I remove the fill plug, pop the hood, have someone drop a section of 3/4" vinyl hose. I stick the hose in the hole. The person on top simply puts the lube in the hose, its real easy if your using the 1 pt. bottles with the pour adapter (they all come with it, you just snip off the end.) This process ended up being soooooo easy, I drained and refilled my other cars in the same way.

I've heard people drilled 2 holes on top of the bottle, then stick 2 vinyl tubes in it. One goes to the fill hole and one is connected to an air compressor. They set the compressor to 30psi and just blew air into the bottle. Takes about 30 seconds to fill 1 quart. It may be a good idea if you have an air compressor.

Seriously, just try the hose trick above. Gravity is a wonderful thing. I went so far as to fashon a stop like the hospital uses for IV's to control the flow. when its full I stop the flow, pull the hose out form the top and let the lube run back into the bottle. Never had a mess with this method.

ive done it both ways, and doing any way other than the pump is just silly. Buy the little 7.99 pump and pump the bottles in from underneath. Keep the little plastic pump in case you ever change differential fluid
