Is there ANY device that will limit boost? .. I have idea’s
I think I have this down. Port wastegate, cut intake, or choke exhaust? Wastegate sounds like a feasible option …. The other 2 blow. But this is how I see it. The stock system does it almost perfectly; it cuts the gas when it reaches a certain boost level… thus the need for a FCD. Is there such thing as a programmable, or configurable FCD or something of the sort so I can set it, and forget it, and know my boost will not exceed my settings? I mean if this device cuts the fuel… fine, if it opens a huge add on wastegate…cool. Whatever it does I don’t care I just want to be able to control boost levels.
Anything like that out there?
Thank You.

Ahh forgot to add, I know a BOV should protect the engine. I want to protect the Turbo & the engine.
Also from my understanding a boost controler will pump the boost up, but cannot control too much boost.
Does this sound correct?

the best way to control boost is by porting the wastegate. it's only needed after adding a bigger exhuast though.
the FCD simply gets around hitting fuel cut (which is a bad thing!) but doesn't give you safty at higher boost. you still need to add more fuel as well as have the FCD.
