I highly doubt the group buy will end this year at the rate it is moving. We would have to get atleast 7-9 people with S4's to have the quota you wanted for the discount. But by next year I will have enough funds to just buy a stock from you and have them on hand for when they purchase an S4 intake.

PS_ The waiting is hard for me too! I am axious about what my whp will be! :/ I hope its more than 130!

Unfortunatly I was FORCED to reschedule untill wednesday to do the dyno runs. But hopefully I will not have any more problems with the shop. I am already penciled in on their schedule so I think I can hit that Mustang Dyno on wed. in the morning. If not i will car bomb them! j/k

Sorry guys. I was very angry but what can I do they are the only shop with a dyno that I am within 160 miles of. : /

Ok we have another setback. My car is experiencing hesitations at the moment so I can not take it to the dyno and expect the readings to be good at all since it hesitates badly after 4700~ rpms

In any case I have started a new section on our home forum and want people to step up to be one of our TII CAI testers. The other two spots are already taken by close friends of mine so only one will be lucky enough to get the intake for cheap.

go here if you are interested. If you have more questions please by all means ask: http://aztechrotary.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=129#129

....riiiight....

Just curious, how many people have actually bought your CAI w/o dyno-proof? I mean... you've pushed back the day... HOW many times now?

Twice bro.

One was because they had a Dodge intrepid on the lift that puts the car on the dyno and this time because I am having problems with my car. You want to come down here and confirm that. If I am lying I will pay for your gas to get back to Springfield. GO ahead. If you don't want to beleive me then don't.

Two people have contacted me about paying the 200 so they don't have to go through the group buy and I have a couple on the group buy right now. But I am waiting for more than that to make them. A bunch of others would say "I will have the money in a week" I had like 15-20 of these guys. These kind of people tend to disappear fast when I tell them there are enough people like them to finish the group buy. I really don't want to get into people like this as its a great majority of the FC community and I don't like to rant a lot so I will stop.

You can be sure that I will have dyno sheets later on though. Even if its not right now. I know the guy's son but that doesn't get me free dyno runs or a discount. That only guarantees I can talk to him even today when his shop is closed. But I didn't see any point in wasting 100 bucks on 9-12 dyno runs for nothing. Hesitations like the ones I am having will completly **** with the dyno's readings.

i was just curious, since youre doing dyno tests, are you going to get blocks of dry ice, and put them in front of massive fans in order to simulate intake temperatures seen during regular driving? Wouldn't it be better to pick up a gtech and do 0-60 times since you'd be able to do it outside of a garage? Im sure there are more variables, such as outside temperature remaining constant, humidity, and such, for the 0-60, but i cant really see actual driving intake temps on a dyno.

Hey guys! Well I decided to bump this thread instead of making another one.

I have starter making a new design for the N/a CAI because the old style I had created was not going to fit with a strut bar installed. The new intakes will be made either from stainless steel or aluminum as I have cut a deal with a mandrel bend making business to buy exclusivly from them and get a good price on both types of piping. Price will remain basically un changed but we will not have the benefit of light weight aluminum or high polish stainless steel piping. You all can read more of the progress on our forum by clicking the picture in my sig. Have a look around and sign up if you want to post something. It only takes 30 seconds to do so. I also purchased another Magnehelic guage to test on more than one point on an intake and see what we can come up with. There is some bad news though the shop that has the dyno in town is being bought out and the equipment(ie dyno) are being shipped out. But I am going to try and see where the next closest dyno in the general area is.
