MN TERRIBLE WEEK -- car wont start/coolant related

I've been trying to sell my FC for the longest time.
Its a 1986 GXL with 75k orig. miles on it, and its an automatic.
And its also missing the exhaust and the passenger window was smashed in to steal the radio.

Two Days ago I get a call from a buyer, he tells me if the car is everything i say it is he will buy it. He also tells me he doesn't have a car of his own or a ride but has the cash in hand and is ready to buy it.
So I decide to drive the car to him, its a 2 hour drive one way.
I also live in Minnesota so its winter right now and freezing cold, there was also a snow storm going at the time I made the trip.
So I make it there through the cold, and LOUDness of an open header.

The guy then test drives the car and says its really nice, and he likes it a lot. He then tells me he can't give me what he told me he was going to, and drops his offer by 400$.
I refuse the offer, and he doesn't even say sorry or give me any gas money for the trip.
Then I make my 2 hour drive back home, pissed off, and couldn't help but think that the guy did it on purpose thinking that after making that long drive I'd take whatever offer he threw at me.

Then the past couple days I have been in contact with another buyer, he seems like a good guy. He comes to my house and test drives the car, says he likes it a lot also, its everything I said it was in my ad.
He decides to buy it, pays me and is off.

I get a call an hour later saying that the heat wasn't working and the car overheated and won't start.
I try to argue that the car was perfectly fine before he had it, which it was. I even made that 4+ hour road trip 2 days ago no problem, no overheating, started find no problems at all.
On top of that he test drove it before he bought it.
Cops get involved and somehow the car is back in my possession......
And the car is stranded somewhere so I drive out there with my friend to go grab it.
Car won't start and its 1am, and I'm freezing.
I try to pull the fuse and de-flood it 10+ times.
The car finally starts and an insane amount of smoke comes out.
10 seconds later the coolant buzzer goes off, i shut the car off.
We push the car to a nearby apartment parking lot and decide its too late and cold to deal with it and head home.

I honestly feel like ive been screwed hard this past week.
And at the moment I am lost, I don't know what I should do but I have the whole day off tomorrow.
Can someone please just point me in the right direction, what should i do with the car and this whole situation now?

I'm 19 and i just got fired from my job, I dont have much money, things just aren't going great right now.

Any helpful ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

So you have the car, and the money? What's the problem? It could be the thermostat sticking. Isn't it the new buyers problem now though. Good luck.

No I dont have the money, I have the car.
Except now the car doesn't start and is stranded, and I don't have any money for towing.

OK, this sucks! If that first guy really lured you out there in order to low ball you then he's a real dick. Also, It would have sucked to be the second guy but he did get lucky getting his money back because used cars are SOLD "AS IS".

I understand that you are broke but you really need to get yourself a AAA+ account. Its around $75 and you can get up to 4 tows of up to 100 miles per year. All of us driving these old cars should have one.

I'm afraid you may have a coolant seal leak. I hope not. I have had luck using block weld in the past but instead of the CRC copper stuff, I've used the Quick Way Irontite Ceramic Block Sealer. I'll get blasted for even mentioning that but it doesnt sound like your financially or emotionally ready for a rebuild.

Good Luck!
