Talking Tenzo R Seats On A FC?

Hey Guys,

I recently went out drifting and my seats kept on throwing me around like crazy, they're also very ripped and ugly. I went on Ebay to see if they had any nice reclinable seats for a decent price that will grip the driver in. I found Tenzo R's and they look to be very hugging seats, my friend has some reclinable brides (dunno which brand) and they held me in sooooooo nice even when drifting without a harness, but when I saw the Tenzo R's they looked like they would hug you in even more. I know Tenzo R sounds so ricer but for a seat the hugs you in good I don't really care. Heres the link to what they look like:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...907422035&rd=1
Tenzo R- Free Shipping (455)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...908035842&rd=1
Tenzo R- Free Sliders (500)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...908035842&rd=1
Tenzo R- Sparco Harness, Sliders, Grey (600)

Thanks

-Andrew

they look supportive, but personally I would want to sit in the seat before I brought it, just to test fit. imo the black/grey ones look ok

useless info: did you know bride is pronounced- breeday?

I had one that i sold to MR FUZZY. They are pretty comfy seats!.. They are probably one of the cheapest sports seats around. I use to go canyon driving when i had those seats and definitely keeps you inplace. I wish the side bolsters are more tighter though. The bottom (thigh) is pretty tight. Im a small guy and sometimes i find it hard to go in and out of the car.. Good luck!..dont ask me where i got it because i bought them used with FC rails.....

The middle one has free sliders and you can probably drill some holes to make the "universal" sliders fit your fc. I like the grey/black ones and they also have harnesses which will hold me more. My friend took me out for a ride the other day and we went drifting, turns out he has Tenzo R's on his drivers side on his ae86. He said the seats will grip you in but he said it feels to "big" for him. I forgot to ask him to sit in them. I'm about 6'2 180 Not really a big guy but would it hold me good?

Sport Compact Car had those seats in a article with 73 other seats(December'03). They said for a 32"-34" waist the seat was tight in the bottom and loose on the top.

yeah the bottom is pretty tight. The top is pretty comfortable for a cheap sports seats. Its got a good lumbar support unlike other sports seats that are more flat..

I'd go for bride or sparco but I want a reclinable one, this is my daily driver and my back hurts when its straight up after about 1 hour. My mistake on the bride being the brand thing, I meant to say style, I think they were Brix II's not too sure but they hugged me in very nicely.

alright wasnt sure what u were aiming for some peoples track car and daily driver are the same (ie me lol) so i wasnt sure what u were willing too put up with and the fixed seats are more inexpensive compared too there golding counterpart. maybe look into used miata seats i heard they swap write in and i beleive thery are a bit smaller so they would probaly fit u better (i have the same problem somhow bein 5'11 145lbs jus slides around abit in a seat lol (might be mistaken here so correct me if im wrong bout the miata seats) also sry bout the previous post it couldve come across a little hartsh but yea good luck man also if u get sport compact car mag volume 15 number 12 has a seat guide in it and the konig v-racing charge looks like what u want it looks like the most suportive inexpensive reclining bucket there its 392. the tenzo R sports type r evolution got pretty bad ratings for for everybody that tested it but the tenzo racing sports rally is also reclinable and got pretty decent ratings and cost 280$
