The RB springs are great they are built for performance/balance. They do not "drop the car" a whole lot so if you are looking for "looks" perhaps the TEIN would be the way to go. The RB's drop a measured inch on my vert, which looks good. But if your car has a bunch of miles putting on the aftermarket springs may end up raising the car.....

What do you plan on using the car for.?

If you are looking to go as low as possible then you have pretty much answered your own questions, go Tein. Yes Racing Beat springs lower the car about an inch, but your mileage may vary depending on how bad your stock springs are. As far as the name goes, Tein is more known in the tuner circle because they carry parts for most import cars, but Racing Beat works almost exclusively on RX-7s and Miatas. They have done their homework when it comes to our cars and they know their ****.

Quality-wise, Tein probably puts out a good product or else they wouldn't be so big (not 100% true, look at Microsoft), and then there is Racing Beat who also put out a good product and have the background and experience to back it up.

I have chosen RB and I couldn't be happier, and I have no personal experience with Tein.

Also consider this, you claim that the TEIN's are cheaper, are you looking on ebay? Word in the hood is that there are some counterfeit springs floating around with TEIN stickers on them..
