Tein Pillow Ball
Hi everyone!
If someone has Tein Pillow ***** installed, could you please tell me how much harder the suspension became after installing them?
My factory has worn and i'm looking for a new ones... Deciding between OEM replacement (ie MOOG) or aftermarket ones like TEIN... What would you recommend? I have bad roads in region.
Thanks!

The stock strut mounts (at least the front ones are) rubber with a spinning bearing in it.
The *best* front upper camber plates that mimic this is the now defunct K2RD units.
Ground Control offers their version with the same Torrington bearing, but they are NOT made for the FC, no matter what they claim - these are VW Rabbit / GTI units that are close enough to fit the FC. :P
Almost all the Japan tuner ones just have the spherical bearing, which are not mean to take loads axially - this is why they fail.

However you slice it, there is no reason to go with pillow ***** unless you require camber adjustments other than stock.
