Tearing into S5 T2 block
Well i just got everything off my engine and its on a stand now. After school im going to finally be removing the tension rods and see whats going on inside. (side note, I bought this engine blown without knowing
). I just wanted know to if someone had the specs for everything so once its apart i can see what I can reuse. Im going to be using a full rotary avativion kit with RA super seals and porting templates for intake and exhaust. This engine is going to be a mix match of S4 and S5 parts because I have a S4 harness and ecu. and Going to shoot for a reliable 330-350rwhp. Does anyone have any experience with porting templates like racing beat or any others? I have done porting before on atvs and was very good at it surprisingly. And does everyone feel that a full rotary avation kit with RA super seals will be good? I was going to go with a Atkins master kit but realized RA is slightly cheaper and seems like better seals. Any input on specs, porting, and rebuild kits will be helpful. Thanks, Nick
Also going with a BNR turbo.

Factory service manual. It seems like you may be new to these motors. Are you sure you're ready to port it yourself? If you **** up the housings that's going to be quite a pretty penny to shell out...

Im not really new to 13b's, my dad has rebuilt one before and I learned alittle from him. Iv'e done rebuilds to ATV's(i know that doesn't matter much but its still something) Im not afriad about rebuilding i know its the finer details that people mess up. I have plenty of crappy housings and irons that i can practice on before porting my own. (i know these cost a pretty penny) Like I said im not afriad to rebuild, I feel I can do a pretty damn good job if i take my time. Im just looking for alittle guidance about porting templates and a few other things. I know i really shouldnt be trying to go all the way and build a turbo motor for my first rebuild but Im willing to try anyways. Plus with my dad by my side(who has done a lot of various rebuilds on his own before) then I shouldnt have a problem. Hell i know theres been teens on these forums who has done it before.
