tb mod questions...

ok guys, I have done the searching on here. The only link I found to explain step by step how to do this is the FC3S.com one, and that link no longer works. can someone post this again up here somewhere?

the TB mod is really simple. Take all of the coolent lines leading into the TB and plug them. Then all of the lines that fed and relived the TB of coolent, trace them to their sources and plug them there. Simple.

shouldn't you just reroute them in case they lead somewhere else important (i don't own an FC so i'm not sure)

most of the lines just run from a possitive pressure source to a negative pressure source, and don't feed anything else that's significant. If it looks like the line is coming out of/going into something else important just bypass the TB and keep the line flowing.

I have a how-to on my site but no pics. You can always chat with me if I am online and I can walk you through it.

I know enough about it to know that you left out the important part--the TB MOD itself. I am not talking about the cold-start removal. I am referring to how you take out the secondary plates from inside the tb....cold start removal I am interested in too, but since they can both be done at the same time I prefer to do it that way

Exactly, the TB mod isn't that simple and can easily be stuffed up if you have no idea what you're doing. Unless there's another decent write-up around (with pics), wait to see if Ted gets the site back up.
