Damn, you guys are REALLY tall! I wish there was a way to telescope the wheel though, not that I really NEED it, but it'd be nice to completly tailor the driving position 100%. I'm only 5'7" 150lbs though so I'm good

Someone once told me that they had a problem with their helmet getting stuck in the window with a helmet on or something like that. Anyone have that happen before?

This is the only commercially available spacer that I know of.  The down side is that it requires an aftermarket steering wheel.  This adds to the cost of the whole mod.
I run a custom one-off spacer from K2RD.  It's 1.25", so it's the same size as the Smart Racing one.  It makes it nice for my 350mm MOMO Race wheel.
I'm 6'1" and 250#.

I've never tried the Smart Racing quick-release, but I have used the Tekniq ones.
