Taking tranz out for clutch rebuild ?

Well I know the bolts on the bell housing. What about the other side? I mean thiers this area before the shift boot that contains 8 bolts. Can I take that portion out instead of entire tranz? I mean I dont want to take the whole driveshaft off.
thnx

Take a look in your manual; it will show what will happen to your trans if you remove those bolts...

Just take the trans out.

Remove all those bolts on the transmission Crossmember. But you will have to take out the drive shaft.

It's the big piece of metal that crosses the tranny at the back. Has one bolt stickin threw the middle, and 2 bolts on each side, holding the thing up..
