Pre-heat oven to 450.
stick tailights in
leave in for long enough for the glue to melt
remove tails, remove outer cover (red/yellow overlays), remove inner diffuser
re-seal tails
done.

Im just going to pay $80 to have it done. In my mind its worth it. $150 set of tails that you could screw up....a few hours of time...vs $80 plus shipping to know its done right....pm me if you want his info

But yes, you *could* smoke them, as for the turn signal, I'm not sure.

world record for me
pre heated my oven to 350 degrees for 10 minutes then just before i was ready to put them inside the oven i brought the range down to 250 degrees
after 4 minutes i removed the light and it came off like butter
as soon as i seperated the diffuser out of the light i quickly put the cover back on the light and held it tight with two clamps and my hands for 2 minutes outside
so all in the matter of about 8 minutes each light was done,
