ok here is the problem, I just checked it and made the connection tighter however I am not getting anything when I test that connection! all the other places if I take out the fuse and test them they are fine except this one. Damn! and only about the most important fuse. Now what??? Thanks.

So the fuse is bad or not???

With the fuse in the fuse box, there are two test leads on the top of the fuse... do they both have voltage? If the fuse is good they will. Is the fuse good (and to pharaphrase an old TV show: dammit jim, stop looking at it to try an figure it out... test it with a [multi-]meter).

lol, gotta love the old star trek Anyways damnit icemark the fuse is good! I tried a bunch of differant fuses and the same thing every time I get great voltage every where else besides the iluminsation spot so what does this mean?

so then are both sides of the socket for the fuse hot (have 12 volts)??? or ????

bottom part has 12volts top part has ziltch!

Okay, then with the fuse in, there are two tiny tabs sticking up in the plastic on the fuse top... do both of those have 12 volts on them???

you are the electrical man I've never even noticed those tabs before. Anyways I think we are making headway because yes both of them on top and on bottom have 12volts.

Okay now you need to locate the white/green in plug X-17.

This is in the drivers kick panel above the fuse box and is a 17 pin plug with 16 wires in it. The white/green is in pin 10 and next to the lock tab for the connector.

Does the white/green have 12 volts on both sides of the plug X-17.

hey I just found a four prong connector that was not pluged in so I plugged it in and vuala the lights work???? Strange stuff. Thanks man for your help. I don't think I would have looked way up under there unless you where helpin me out!!!

lol, I don't know I guess we will find out Anyways yes I need to find a screw driver that is long enough and small enough to change the idle while the intercooler is on. Then I will have the joy of moving on to suspension! Yeah! then it will be over
